Board
Lori Keele is a member of the Board of Directors for Transitions, Inc. and serves as the Secretary. She introduced Kindergarten Puppy Training to Idaho and successfully grew and managed that business for twelve years. Lori initially took on the responsibilities of medical billings and payroll management for Transitions, working evenings and weekends while juggling a full time job. As Transitions grew, Lori moved to working exclusively at Transitions. Her efficiency and attention to detail kept Transitions organized from the early days through her retirement in the fall of 2021. As a board member, Lori continues to share her knowledge and experience to facilitate growth and expansion of new services at Transitions.
J. Kelly Keele serves on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer for Transitions, Inc. During the early 1990’s, Kelly identified needed services which were not available for people with disabilities in Idaho. Along with a few of his friends, he started six human service agencies including Transitions, Inc. Transitions was licensed as a Developmental Disabilities Agency in 1993 and achieved accreditation to provide Vocational Services in 1996. Kelly was a founding member and officer in four provider organizations and has served in multiple advocacy organizations. His tireless legislative efforts have resulted in administrative rules that better serve people with disabilities. Kelly’s current and ongoing work as a consultant and board member encompasses advocating for improvement and continuation of the services needed by individuals with disabilities in Idaho.
