Behavioral Intervention

Behavioral Intervention teaches skills needed for day to day living to children and helps others in their life with learning how to teach and support the child.  It assists families and other caregivers with learning behavioral techniques specific to their child while helping the child decrease challenging behavior. BI can be provided one on one or in a small group.

Interdisciplinary Training

Interdisciplinary Training allows the BI and other professionals to cross train.  For example, the Speech Therapist may teach the BI how to work on enunciation while the BI helps the Speech Therapist with behavior management.

Habilitative Skill Building

Habilitative Skill Building teaches skills to children and helps them use their skills over time.  This service can be one on one or in a group.

Crisis Intervention

Crisis Intervention occurs when the child is at risk for out of home placement, getting hurt, or hurting others and the services in place are not enough to help.  It helps the child and family stabilize during the crisis.
