Tim Starnes
Tim Starnes is the Executive Director and CEO for Transitions, Inc. He is a member of the board for the company and the Program Manager for the Vocational Services Program. Prior to working at Transitions, Tim served in the Navy and, upon discharge, became a police officer. Tim has been an essential part of Transitions since 2004. He received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Business Management with emphases in both Information Systems and Economics; his minor is in math. Tim received certificates from the University of Washington for Community Rehabilitation Provider (CRP) Management and CRP Administration. He appreciates knowing that his job has meaning and purpose for clients we serve.

Sam Lyman
Sam Lyman has worked in the field for 18 years and at Transitions, Inc. for 14 years. As the Community Supported Employment (CSE) Coordinator, Sam utilizes excellent organizational skills and team building to help clients in their jobs. She loves they way Transitions’ clients “light up the world, have huge hearts, and a great work ethic.” Sam enjoys the vocational field because helping others is rewarding; helping others, Sam says, has helped her understand the meaning of selflessness.

Pearl Hanna
Pearl Hanna has worked as a Vocational Specialist for 2 years and has been with Transitions, Inc. for 1 year. She received her degree from Idaho State University in Business Management. Pearl “likes helping others find their meaningful place in life.” She feels that helping clients find the right work placement where they can excel is rewarding, and uses both her professional and personal experience to understand their needs and how best to help them succeed. Pearl enjoys the team at Transitions and how employees help each other. She is comfortable taking concerns to management and knows she will be understood.

Jennifer Starnes
Jennifer Starnes began working for Transitions, Inc in 2021 as the Benefits Planner. She received the Work Incentives Practitioner certification from Cornell University. Jennifer “enjoys providing helpful information to those individuals looking to go to work and helping them understand the benefits they are receiving, and the effect work may have for them.” Her favorite part of interacting with Transitions’ clients is the ability to help them move toward their work goals. Jennifer stays current by taking monthly classes about work incentives, social security benefits, and other employee benefits.

Shawna Morgan
Shawna Morgan has worked with Transitions, Inc. for 10 years and is a Vocational Specialist. She attended college at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho (now Brigham Young University – Idaho). Shawna enjoys her career at Transitions because “there is always a change of pace; you are never just sitting around.” She loves seeing clients learn new skills and looking for small steps gained to celebrate accomplishments. Shawna loves to see joy on the faces of her clients.

Shuree Ritchie
Shuree Ritchie is a Vocational Specialist and has been with Transitions, Inc. for 16 years. She likes helping people have success in their workplace and be successful. Shuree enjoys getting to know the individuals she works with; she loves knowing that she is a part of helping others experience new things while meeting their life goals. Shuree enjoys the training she receives and tries to make every day a positive experience. Shuree also likes her coworkers and feels that everyone is so nice!
